Quick checks & safety tips

  • Verify the breaker isn’t tripped; many ranges use a double-pole breaker.
  • For ovens that under-bake, remove heavy foil from racks and avoid blocking vents to restore airflow.
  • Preheat fully and use an oven thermometer to compare set vs. actual temp (+/- 10–15 °C is typical).
  • Door not sealing? Check for debris on the gasket and bent hinges; heat loss can cause long bake times.
  • Smell of burning/electrical or visible arcing? Turn the unit off at the breaker and book service.
