Quick checks before you call
- Verify temps: fridge ~3–4 °C (37–39 °F), freezer −18 °C (0 °F).
- Clear airflow: don’t block rear/side vents with food containers.
- Inspect door gaskets for gaps; clean seals and ensure doors close fully.
- Vacuum condenser coils (especially if pets) and ensure fan area isn’t clogged.
- Replace the water filter if ice/water is weak or tastes off.
- For ice makers: make sure the arm is down and the fill tube isn’t iced up.
If you notice a burning smell, overheating at the back, or active water leakage, unplug the fridge and book service immediately.
