Dryer Repair
Dryer problems often involve heat, airflow, and electrical safety. We identify the root cause of no-heat conditions, long dry times, and overheating issues to reduce fire risk and restore efficient drying.
We provide an upfront diagnosis before any work, clear pricing, and a warranty on parts & labor. Common parts are stocked on the truck to minimize delays.
Common issues we fix
- No heat / overheating (element, fuses, thermostats)
- Drum not spinning (belt, idler, motor)
- Loud squeak / rumble / burning smell
- Takes too long to dry (airflow / venting)
- Won’t start or shuts off mid-cycle
- Error codes (E3, F01, tS/PS, HE, etc.)
Quick checks before you call
- Clean the lint filter and ensure the outside vent flap opens freely.
- Check the vent hose for kinks/crushed sections; keep runs short and smooth.
- Try a timed-dry cycle on high heat to rule out sensor/setting issues.
- Confirm the breaker is fully on (some dryers use a 2-pole breaker).
- Make sure the door is fully latched and child lock is off.
- Power-cycle for 2 minutes if controls are unresponsive.
If there’s a burning smell, unusual noise, or the drum won’t turn, stop using the dryer and book a diagnosis. We’ll advise the safest fix.
